Minimal moods

Loving these minimal moods. Can you tell I'm organizing the "summer" mess around the house left by the kids and in desperate need for minimal, mess free visual treats? I mean our house here in the US is a lot bigger than the one we had in France and we did not acquire new furniture, in order to keep a minimal feel, but with two pre-teens in the house, how do you manage 'minimal'? Anyone out there? Storage, storage [hidden if possible] et storage encore if you ask me! That's the secret for a mess free minimal chic house!
