Happy Women's Day!

Today we're celebrating Women's International Day my dear, so to all the gals out there, happy Women's Day. I know, it kinda sucks that they have to make a special day for us. I mean, men don't have a special day. But still, any day to celebrate any cause is a good day to celebrate a cause, right? After all, so many women today, and sadly not only in emerging countries, are treated, paid or talked to differently, just because they are women, that we all need this day to embrace the cause. So happy Women's Day, ladies! Xo, Si-

Si-

House Tour : Florence, Sébastien and Gaspard

Florence, founder of Petite Maman, an NPO aiming at helping mothers and young children in need, her companion Sébastien and their son Gaspard, live in this Parisian Marais quarter flat. I am loving the spirit of this interior, with handpicked flea markets finds, original art prints and its exposed brick wall. You can tell this family did not follow a "by the book" recipe to furnish their home, and as a result, their flat exhibits a real fresh and unique style. J'aime!

J'aime!

Weekend + French Mothers' Day

Wishing you a great weekend and a happy Mothers' Day if you live in France. Lucky me, I get to double dip : we celebrated the American mother's day a few weekends ago, and I get to have breakfast in bed again this weekend. Ha! Have a good one my dear, and see you back here on Monday! Xo, Si-

Mothers' day weekend

Oh, what a week this has been! Overwhelming, full of wonderful surprises and very rewarding but so exhausting... The {surprise} breakfast in bed I don't know I'm having on Sunday is going to be very welcome - the girls do this every year for Mothers' day, and every year, I have to look completely surprised... shhh :-)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and a happy Mothers' Day if you live in the US, Canada, and New Zealand and Australia, and.... a country that celebrates it this weekend! Xo, Si-

Saturday's Special Treat : Unhate

This is the new spot for the Benetton campaign titled "Unhate" and promoting the new brand's non profit organization. Directed by Laurent Chanez, the film once again positions Benetton as the brand  that crosses universal taboos. Some highly controversial posters relay the campaign [see them all here]. Be warned, this film is not for young audiences, but its message is ageless. Powerful.

Wednesday Special Treat: Christine Sun Kim

A brilliant, magical and unique short by cult photographer and filmmaker Todd Selby, "Christine Sun Kim A Selby Film" reveals portrait of performance artist Christine Sun Kim, deaf from birth, who uses sound as a medium : "Listen with your eyes, not just with your ears." A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
